JNC Fencing was proud to deliver exceptional fencing solutions for the redevelopment of Valley Park & Leisure Centre in Newtownabbey. Set against the stunning backdrop of the iconic Cave Hill—known for its connection to Jonathan Swift’s Gulliver’s Travels—this state-of-the-art project transforms 2.2 acres of under-used space into a vibrant hub for the community, featuring a 3G sports pitch, a scenic linear park, and an adventure playground.

Scope of Work

JNC’s scope encompassed a comprehensive array of high-quality fencing and gate systems, meticulously designed for security, durability, and aesthetic integration:

• Sports Fencing
  • JNC Supreme: 2.40m and 1.80m heights with clampbar fixing.
  • JNC Doublebeam 868: 3.00m high, complete with full-length profiled cover plates.
  • JNC Spectator 868: 1.20m high, featuring top rails and cover plates for a sleek finish.
  • Certified Ball-Stop Netting: 13m high x 30m wide for safe play and pitch protection.

• Playground and Gate Systems
  • Gates: Solidbar railing entrance gates (single and double), pitch gates, and playground gates fitted with safety slow closers and push pads.
  • Fencing for the Gulliver’s Travels-themed playground, balancing security with visual appeal to reflect the site’s unique literary heritage.

• Additional Features
  • Scoreboard Housings & Stands for seamless sports facility integration.
